A law degree is required from any applicant to the post of District Judge. An adequate knowledge of legal affairs and practically on-the-job experience in the field is expected from the applicants. Orissa High Court is looking for someone with such knowledge and experience in order to effectively perform judicial duties. Candidates, on being successfully selected, will be offered a pay scale that will run between Rs. 1,44,840 to Rs. 1,94,660 and the allowance as applicable.
